Synopsis:

Ok so first I would like to applaud Ari for ditching her poor excuse of a fiancé the day before her wedding!
Given that she was raised by indifferent money hungry parents and was raised to do as she was told first by her father then by her fiancé, it took a lot of guts to do what she did.
Although she knew no one would be pleased by her actions, she did what was right for her. Lucky she does have a supportive sister who loves her to bits and covered for her.
Things took a dramatic turn for her though when she becomes re acquainted with Branson though some not so great circumstances, one lie spirals into another until Ari finds herself not only engaged to Branson but also living with him!!
As time goes on Ari and Branson find they don’t want their ‘pretend’ engagement to be pretend anymore. They want the real deal. Ari has been welcomed by Branson’s family with open arms & she loves them as much as they love her. Branson has started to heal from his past mistakes & things are looking promising for their future. Then Branson’s ex-wife reappears and brings Ari’s ex fiancé with her and well, things go downhill from there.
Branson & Ari need to decide if they trust and love each other enough to find their way back together and take a leap toward their happy ever after or if they are destined to remain apart forever.
Although this book has quite a few steamy moments, there are also funny and romantic scenes that have you laughing & holding your breath. Because Ari’s parents are so indifferent to her it is really refreshing for her to become part of Branson’s family and become absorbed in the love they all have for each other..
This is my first Tessa Teevan book and after hearing so many great things about her other books from other people, I had high expectations. I was not disappointed at all!! I absolutely loved the story and the characters. I am so happy I was able to read and review this book, it was an absolute pleasure.

After meeting Branson is Knox’s book, I could not wait to get my hands on this deliciously confusing man’s book and thank you lord the wait is over!
Branson was such an a-hole in previous books, yet totally intriguing. I knew there was more to his story and holy hell was it an amazing story. I went from not liking him all that much to shouting DIBS from my rooftop.
Branson really hurt his brother Knox after he slept with Knox’s girl Megan. Branson and Megan got married and after a loveless marriage and her not being able to keep her legs closed, the finally divorced. Branson was an outcast in his family because of his relationship with Megan and deep down Branson wanted nothing more than to get his family back. When he saw what Knox and his new girl Charlie had, Branson got a glimpse of what he really wanted but never thought it was in the cards for him-not until Ariana (Ari).
Ari, the daughter of a well-known and very wealthy Atlanta business man was set to marry one of his colleagues sons. Only problem is she doesn’t truly love Brandon and it took one night months ago talking to a very inebriated drunken Branson for her to realize that and on her wedding day- she runs.
The only thing that Branson has left of a drunken night in Atlanta where he spent the night talking to a beautiful stranger is a note reminding him that he is worth it. It took one night with an angel for him to get his shit together and start bettering himself. He would have dreams of her but not really remembering her he wasn’t even sure if it was really real-except for the note he carries in his wallet.
Call is kismet, call it fate, call it being in right place at the right damn time but Ari and Branson’s paths cross again this time it is Branson who saves her both physically and metaphorically. This starts a journey where a temporary arrangements turns into a forever but can that forever withstand the demons of the past?
Holy hell what a ride this book was! Sorry Tessa Teavan but yup I cursed you out in my head a few times during this book! Branson is so complex it was amazing at how well he was written and how he drew him in. Learning everything that has happened since Megan knocked on his door and how he truly felt was both heartbreaking and infuriating at times but yeah I couldn’t help myself for falling for yet another book boyfriend. DIBS!
Ari was such a sweet girl and fit in perfectly with this cast of characters. Her warmth and her perseverance were amazing to read and yeah I fell in love with her too. The way she accepted Branson and how hard she fought him so that he would win the fight with himself at times were just wow.
This book really pulled at my heartstrings. Made me laugh, cry and possible need a cold shower because the sexy times were so hot.
I really hope we get more this series and of these characters because I really do not want it to end. Conflagration (especially Branson Wellington himself) gets 5 delicious stars!

I first met Branson in Incinerate (My Husband Knox's book) and my honest opinion of him was that he is pretty much a cock-sure self centred asshole with a thrill in ruining good things for other people, always fighting for attention and not someone I would like to meet. To say I disliked him is an understatement. So, to hear he was getting his own book, I needed to know how this asshole was going to redeem himself!
Tessa has completely redeemed his character, his story is one I will return to again and again. Branson is a strong, beautiful man who is looking for happiness and forgiveness for his previous actions and after his story is told, explaining his actions from the previous books, you know without a doubt that this man is one of the good ones.
Ari is the girl who knows she deserves better, a lead female who knows her worth is always my favourite. She heads off on her own to find herself, leaving behind her old life and getting ready to start a new without her parents telling her what to do.
But Tessa, she has this way of throwing in a curveball and changes things up to give the story so much more suspense.
The connection between Branson and Ari is OFF THE FREAKING SCALE SCORCHING HOT! They both fight their feelings towards each other. At times, I wanted to grab them both by their ears and give them a good shake!
I loved the appearances from previous book characters, and one thing that really stood out to me in this book was Branson's family. I want them to adopt me and mine and go for Sunday Brunch (read the book, you'll understand). The banter between the Wellington brothers made me laugh so hard, especially one particular scene which includes Branson and Knox hiding out, had me snort laughing like a champion!
I will NOT be putting any big spoilers in this review, because I believe that every person deserves to experience a book on a personal level.
Tessa Teevan, you never ever disappoint. I love everything about you and your writing style. The emotions I go through when reading the journeys of the characters you write are simply wonderful and everything I want out of a book. A stunning 5 STAR read from me!
