Penelope Graham grew up with a father as a football player, and that is why she is not a fan of football players. And she is looking for a nice normal with nothing to do with football. But for some reason she can't help her attraction to Ryker Voss. Quarterback for her college team. Ryker is the total opposite of the type of guy she wants, but the more time she spends with him the more she is doomed to fall for the quarterback.
Ryker can't understand why he wants Penelope. He should definitely be running in the opposite direction, especially after the story she wrote about him and his team mate and the fighting ring they were a part of. But he can't help how she makes him feel and even though he knows his not the right person for her he can't help but want to be with her and spend time with her.
A misunderstanding happens about a bet and will this be enough to convince Penelope that she has been right about Ryker all along or will she see past all the drama and see him for exactly who he is. The one guy who makes her heart beat faster.
Sweet, funny, sexy, drama, romance and so much more. This was a book that I read in one go as it was too good to put down.
