I didn't know what I was getting myself into when I signed up to read the newest from one of my favorite duo's. All I knew was it said they wrote it so I had to read it. Funny how that works. We find a trusted author (or authors in this case) who writes books that we always seem to love. At some point, we stop reading the blurbs and just ask "where do I sign up"? Who cares if there's torture involved, I want it now! That's kind of how it was here. I'm so glad I did!
Will, or "Wonka" as his pesky neighbor insists on calling him, has a problem. A tall, leggy problem. The neighbor that calls him Wonka? She's a total thorn in his side. She blares 90s rap, is always messing up his pristine yard, and has no consideration for those around her.
Lilith may do some things on purpose. Well, not on purpose per se, but one accident leads to another and she just leaves the mess. Same affect. Her neighbor still ends up hating her more and complaining about something else. He's only called the fire dept a few times citing faulty fire detectors. She'll show him next time.
These two were hysterical in there antics. Whether Lil was trying to sabotage Will's pristine yard or Will was getting her back for said sabotage, the sexual tension just kept building. It's like a pipe. If you clog said pipe, eventually the pressure building up behind it will cause it to burst. And oh, how the dam broke! Once the first contact was made, all bets were off! They may be like oil and water, but they made the best combination. I loved the chemistry, the the laugh-out-loud banter, and the true connection that these two built on. I'm telling you, if you need a romantic comedy to keep you on your toes, Sundays are for Hangovers is the best option!
