Cotton : Satan's Fury MC by L. Wilder ♥ FMR REVIEW

He thought he had it all figured out....

ABOUT Cotton:

Becoming President of the Satan’s Fury MC was a bittersweet moment for Cotton. When his Uncle Saul died, he passed the gavel down to him, and while Cotton took his death hard, he immediately assumed the role with integrity and pride. He considered leading his brothers an honor, and the MC quickly became his main focus… until the day Cassidy walked into his bar and became a distraction he could not deny. She captivated him in a way no other woman ever had. He tried to resist her—to keep his walls up—but it was futile. It always seemed like she saw right through him. All it took was one night of passion with her, and he knew he’d never be able to get enough. He was determined to have her.

He thought he had it all figured out. He thought he could let his walls down and have it all…until his past suddenly came crashing into his future.

When Cassidy walked into a room, all eyes were immediately drawn to her. She exuded a beauty and youthful energy that lit a spark in everyone she met. She was a woman who knew what she wanted and was willing to wait for it. The minute she met Cotton, she was drawn to him. He was older, more mature, and so good-looking he took her breath away. Where most people only saw a hardened MC president, she saw a man who lived his life with strength and determination, filled with an unwavering sense of loyalty, and who had earned the admiration and respect of his brothers. She longed for Cotton, to be close to him. So when he began to let her in, she didn’t hesitate.

She wanted him—all of him. In his arms, she felt save and protected. She trusted him with her heart… until he broke it, nearly destroying her in the process.

Can she ever learn to trust him again?

Review by: Kathryn

I am a huge fan of MC romance book and have loved Leslie Wilder's books since reading the Devils Chaser's series. The Satan's Fury Series is amazing each book can be read as a standalone but you get so much more from the story line and understandings of conflict by having read the previous books. The timeline for this book starts before Stitch has ended and reintroduces us to all the fabulous characters that appear in this series. I love the characters that Leslie creates, and it was fabulous reading the new ones and reacquainting myself with the MC members and their old ladies.

This is Cotton and Cassidy's story. Cotton was given the nickname by his father for the color of his hair as a child and it stuck. Cottonhas always taken his responsibilities seriously, loosing his father at a young age and taking on the role of provider. With the aid of his Uncle Saul the previous pres of the Satan's Fury MC, Cotton gains employment as a laborer working construction with other members of the MC. Cotton also takes his role as a protector very seriously and respects the members of the MC, so it's no surprise when he comes to the aid of Sara one of the daughter's of a member of the MC. Little did he know it would come back to haunt him many years later.

Cassidy is the club bartender as gorgeous inside as she is outside. Cassidy only has eyes for cotton, even though he is quite a few years older than her. Cotton and Cassidy share an on again off again relationship with quite a few mixed signals thrown in. Just when she thinks she has found her happiness, her world breaks apart. The club and Cass are Cotton's priorities and his to protect and he does what he thinks he needs to do in order to protect them.

I loved this book i couldn't put it down. It's a fabulous, engaging love story with a great mix of romance, suspense and angst. The men of this MC are hot alphas with a compulsion to care and protect those they love, in particular their women and children and each other. This series has all the elements of a great MC but less blood and violence than some. I seriously cannot wait to read Clutch's story, he is one of my favorite characters.

5 Stars
