Review By Erin
Great second chance book. Reed has realized the mistake he made years ago and is determined to make sure that Kori knows that he is a different man now and that they belong together.
Kori, a single mother. moves back home after having her son on the same night that her boyfriend dies in an accident. She needs time to heal and grieve. The one person she doesn't have time for is her ex, Reed, who cheated on her in high school.
Life keeps throwing them in each others path and Kori finds that it is hard to keep her walls up when it comes to Forgiving Reed.

Forgiving Reed is an at times gut wrenching
and heart warming story or loss, love and
moving forward. Kori loses the love of her life and gives birth to a son
all in the same day and it nearly destroys her. Not wanted by her love’s
family, Kori moves back to her hometown to be with her family and her best
friend, Maria. The only thing that Kori is worried about is running into Reed.
Her first love and the man who broke her heart.
As time goes on, Kori and Reed become
friends and Reed becomes an important part of her and her son Rhett’s life but can Kori find it in heart to get
passed her grief and fall in love with Reed again?
The loss that Kori felt was palpable. I was
crying at the very beginning of this book. She was so broken that there were
definitely times that I was not so sure she would be able to be put back
together and that it what I LOVED about this book. The way it dealt with the
pain and the loss and the feeling like a piece of yourself is missing was so
real.
Reed was such a swoon worthy character. So
patient and so kind and the scenes with him and Rhett totally melted me. The
guilt he had over hurting Kori and the willingness he had as well as the
lengths he went through to make it right were phenomenal.
I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end and give it 4.5 stars...Heather

I am torn on what I feel after reading this book. Young love being shattered by a stupid decision would be life altering to anyone girl just entering college. Then for Kori to fall in love with someone who promises her and their unborn son the world, only for that love to be taken from her in the worst way, even worse than before.
In the beginning I understood Kori’s reason to not want to forgive Reed of what he did in the past. But then I fell in love with Reed myself. “I love you so much Kori. Having you here in my arms, feels so right. Don’t fight us anymore, just know that I want the both of you completely. Don’t question that. Just accept it. Please. It’s not about replacing your past, it’s only me wanting to be your future. Let me take care of you, let me love you and Rhett.”
After hearing him say that, how could you not want these two to work out?
As a single mom, what Reed wanted to give Kori is what we all search for when it comes to relationships. A man (or woman) who accepts you as you are and loves your child as if they were their own.
I liked this story. I was a quick, cute and heart felt read.
