Stumbling Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds • FMR REVIEW

BLURB
From a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author comes an unexpected romance about trying to resist the irresistible…
Mackenzie Reed has officially been stood up. Not only has she wasted two years on Mr. So Not Interested but now she doesn’t even have pizza and the Mets to keep her company. Then he walks into her life—more than six feet of rugged, hot stranger. Maybe, just for tonight, Mac can pretend to be a girl she’s not. After all, she deserves a little no-strings fun…
As far as Wesley Porter is concerned, one night with Mackenzie isn’t nearly enough. She’s a mystery he wants to solve—if he can keep her from running for the door every time they touch. There’s obviously some serious chemistry between them, so why is she fighting it?
As one sexy hookup turns into another (and another), Wesley is determined to prove they were made for each other. But Mac has been hurt before, and she refuses to fall for this sexy, ridiculously perfect guy. In fact, she has every intention of fighting it…unless he can convince her otherwise.

REVIEW BY FLAVIA:

Mackenzie is a massage therapist and grew up in Long Island with her two sister. Between the three of them Mac is the tomboy of the group. She has more guy friends than girlfriends and has a bit of a crush on one of her friends. So when she is stood up on a date and runs in Wesley she is instantly attracted to him and he to her. They spend one night together and they both can't stop thinking about the other and it really doesn't help Wesley when she is always running away from him.
Wesley is a detective with the NYPD. So after spending an incredible night with Mac he is convinced that she is the one for him. Their relationship is not that steady as both have some issues they need to get through. Mac feels like Wesley doesn't know the person she is, as when he met her she was all dressed up, makeup/hair, but that's not who she is, she is the tomboy, who is more comfortable in jeans/takkies and sweatshirts.
Wesley has a past that haunts him but also one he doesn't feel he can share with Mac. He has a decision to make, he either lets her in all the way or he has to let her go.
I don't know what it is about a ARR book, but it whenever i start a book of this author i always have this butterflies in my stomach and this excitement. And this book was no different. From the minute i started reading i was invested till the end. I loved Wesley and Mac was just what he needed in his life. Definitely a favorite for me
