What happens when the kink between the pages leads to heat between the sheets?
All Blake Crawford wants is to pass his creative writing course, get his university degree and take over his dad’s ailing family business. What Amanda Newland wants is to graduate at the top of her class, as well as finally finish her novel and prove to her family that writing is a respectful career.
What Blake and Amanda don’t want is to be paired up with each other for their final project but that’s exactly what they both get when they’re forced to collaborate on a writing piece. Since Amanda thinks Blake is a pushy asshole (with a panty-melting smirk and British accent) and Blake thinks Amanda has a stick up her ass (though it’s brilliant ass), they fight tooth and nail until they discover they write well together. They also might find each other really attractive, but that’s neither here nor there.
When their writing project turns out to be a success, the two of them decide to start up a secret partnership together using a pen name, infiltrating the self-publishing market in the lucrative genre of erotica. Naturally, with so much heat and passion between the pages, it’s not long before their dirty words become a dirty reality. Sure, they still fight a lot but at least there’s make-up sex now.
But even as they start to fall hard for each other, will their burgeoning relationship survive if their scandalous secret is exposed or are happily-ever-afters just a work of fiction?

This book was BRILLIANT!!! Best new fresh idea for a story line that I have read in a really long time. I was so intrigued by the name right from the start and as I read I was totally hooked and couldn't stop. My fingers were swiping left so fast I was afraid I was going to burn off my prints!!! The dynamic was simple and super creative which gave the book a real almost untouched feel. Totally blown away is really all I can say.
Blake and Amanda are the best at hating each other. Seriously, her fantasy nerd girl status and his British assholeness do not mesh... AT ALL. He's into free sexing and the assumption is that he's no where near serious, or so everyone thinks. She needs to graduate top of her class and begin her quest to prove her self as a serious writer. When they do collide in creative writing the stars align and the heavens sing. Neither one can believe that together they are a dynamic writing duo.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS STORY LINE!!! It was so different and completely not what I expected. I love when an author can leave me mouth gaping throughout the whole book and Karina did just that. She is spunky and way out of the box with her ideas which makes for amazing words to devour. She pushes the ideas and makes them so real and touchable, yet keeps the fiction alive. It's rare to find an author that can site a story with so much wholeness to her characters that you will literally read anything they put out because you know everything is perfectly placed.
The characters in is book were absolutely believable and unique. They held so much depth yet looked so overlookingly average to the naked eye. I loved that as the book progressed, the layers were peeled and the rawness of the true character traits for Amanda & Blake were revealed. The scenery described in Karina's books always makes me want to travel and experience everything I'm reading. I can't say enough good things about is book....completely recommend and 5 star read.
