Hotness Batman! I didn’t know Phin had it in him, but my god he is HOT!! I am
talking HOT with a side of HOT. He is one dirty talking faerie. Mealla is a
wonderful character. She has been through some rough times and never expected
to ever run into Phin again. I liked that Phin knew himself so well. Knew what
he wanted and was not afraid to take it. I loved Mealla too. She is very
cautious. She doesn’t want history to repeat itself. These two together will
set your kindle on fire. Very steamy! This story was also full of emotion and
will leave you with a renewed belief in love. I love that the author
intertwines her characters so that I still get my fix of previous characters.
This has fast become my favorite series in this genre. Can’t wait to see what
is in store next!

This was a sweet, sassy, and festive quick read. We touched bases with all our favorite faeries and got to meet some amazing new ones. It was light-hearted but still help some twists to keep you guessing.
Phin and Meallá have a very unique path. It kept you guessing as to what would happen. Anyone who's enjoyed the other books in this series will definitely want to read this one.
Another wonderfully written and entertaining book. Can't wait for more from this series.

I look up into the mirror and see the female bartender from last night leaning against the counter top behind me. It’s clear that she was waiting for me, so I continue on with my task, but raise an eyebrow in question.
She eyes my curves with disdain and unconsciously smoothes a hand over her slender frame, brushing away non-existent wrinkles. “Phin mentioned that you are old friends,” she snips.
“Yes,” I answer flatly, using a paper towel to dry my hands.
“I wouldn’t read too much into him taking you out,” she warns, “He isn’t the type to settle down.” She does another once over, then molds her face into what I’m assuming is supposed to be sympathetic, but instead, makes her look like Miss Piggy with overly wide eyes and her scrunched nose in the air. “If I couldn’t get him to settle down, no one can.” Now her look turns stubborn with a side of menacing, “So, don’t try to fight for him; you’ll lose.”
One mental eye roll and a satisfying vision of a bitch slap later, I quip, “Thanks for the heads up, but ‘I, moiself, have always enjoyed a good scrimmage.’” Oink, oink. I immediately turn toward the door, dismissing her and ending this high school-esque conversation. I don’t even throw out a “Boo, you whore” on my way out. Score one for being a grownup—mostly. I may have indulged in imagining the door smacking her in the face and permanently scrunching up her nose.
I’m a lover of all things books, a hopeless romantic, and have always had a passion for writing. Between being a sappy romantic, my love of an HEA, my crazy imagination, and ok, let’s be real, my dirty mind, I fell easily into writing romance.
I’m a huge baseball fan and yet, a complete girly, girl. I’m an obsessive reader and have a slight (hahaha! Slight? Yeah, right) addiction to signed books.
I’m married to my very own book boyfriend, an alpha male with a sexy, sweet side. He is the best inspiration, my biggest supporter and the love of my life. He is also incredibly patient and understanding about the fact that he has to fight the voices in my head for my attention.
