Just from the first few pages, I knew I was going to love this book. Emma Hart has a way with words that immediately pull you in. Her books become your addiction. You just can't get enough. You don't want to stop until the very last page.
Sophie Callahan is back, but not by choice. Her father passed away a few months before and she knows it's about time that she deals with his estate. But being back in town also means dealing with the past, revealing a secret that could possibly push everyone further apart if that's even possible.Connor Burke is the lead singer of the Dirty B's. Having a short break from touring, he's glad to be able to go home and just relax, until he realizes that Sophie Callahan is back. Then, all he can think about is confronting her.I know have a new obsession. The Dirty B's. Everything about them has me wanting this story to never end. Hilarious, eye-roll inducing, pain in the butt men who you can't help but love. Emma Hart does not disappoint I laughed out loud, found my eyes misty with tears, and sighing with contentment when all was said and done. I loved every minute of it.

This book was a fantastic introduction to
all things Emma Hart!!! Dirty Secret was my first Hart book and I LOVED IT!!!
Witty and sweet yet sultry and seductive, it had all the right elements in it
to make me want for more. I absolutely fell in love the Burke brothers and I
know you will too!!!
“Absolutely, I agree. It’s much harder to
hate you when you’re melting in my arms and whimpering”…..TOTALLY loved this!!!
The snarky banter between Conner and Sofie was superb and totally entertaining.
You could visualize the turmoil and love in their relationship through the one
liners and comebacks. This had me aching for more and I couldn’t put the book
down. The book was very easy to read and offered just the right amount of angst
as well as relationship gushiness.
The characters were FANTASTIC!!! I loved
meeting the Dirty B boys and one by one they staked a claim in my heart. They
were pure grit and all American rolled up in a sultry spanktastic package just
waiting to be unwrapped! Emma did a fantastic job with the ladies in this book
as well. All spit fire and sass made them unmistakingly captivating. Especially
the smallest Dirty Diva herself…pure sweet and squishy love!!!
100% recommend this book and give it 5*!!! I really enjoyed the ease of reading this book
and can’t wait for more Burke boys. This is a fantastic intro to this amazing
new series. Read, savor and enjoy all things Dirty!!

Connor Burke- rock star and member of the
uber popular band he has with his brothers, Dirty B, is at the top of his game.
He has money, he has fame and he has is family. The only thing he doesn’t have
is the love of his life who left without an explanation or a trace 2 years
earlier.
Sophie Callaghan thought that leaving her
hometown, her ill father and Connor Burke behind was the right decision at the
time. Though she loved Connor with all of heart Sophie had a secret that could
destroy everyone.
Sophie’s father passes away and she is
forced to go back to her home town of Shelton Bay, South Carolina to settle her
affairs. It just so happens that Connor
is home for a tour break at the same time. Will Sophie’s secret ruin everything?
I seriously loved loved loved loved this
book! The characters were amazing- Connor seriously adorable and so swoon
worthy and Sophie was just so strong and determined to do the right thing for
everyone else regardless of her feelings.
Dirty Secret is a fast, easy read with some
plot twists that keep you glued to the pages. This was the first book I read by
Emma Hart and I am hooked. Totally am in awe of her writing style and cannot
wait to read more of her work.

will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity.
Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to
forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot
scenes, and a whole lotta love.
She likes to be busy - unless busy involves
doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.

EXCERPT:
That kid that could be mine.
I get up and let the empty bottle drop to the floor. The woods are
eerily quiet, as if it can sense my anger. As if it knows the bitterness that
lingers in my veins, as if it knows the burn of not knowing anything.
Like the woods, I’m left in the dark. Completely.
Branches and twigs crunch under my feet as I increase my pace to a
gentle jog. And again, to a slow run. Then to a sprint.
The need to know increases with every footstep, as evenly paced as the
ticking of the clock. It doesn’t matter that I’ve probably drunk too much beer
to be here or that we’ve only been back for a matter of days.
I can’t be in this shithole full of memories without knowing. I can’t
move on until I know. I can’t forgive her for a single fucking thing until I
know—and even then, maybe I won’t be able to.
Maybe she’s unforgivable.
Instead of knocking on the back door like I did yesterday, I round the
side of the house to the front door. The front room light glows softly through
the curtains, but the rest of the house is dark.
My chest heaves with the exertion of my run here and I grab the
doorframe to balance myself. I’m definitely too fucking drunk for this
conversation, but what the hell.
I bang on the door, once, twice, again and again and again. “Sofie! Open
the fuckin’ door!”
“Shut up!” she hisses, yanking it open. “The
hell’re you doing here?”
I smirk, leaning against the wall. “Shouldn’t I be
askin’ you that, princess?”
“Are you drunk?” Her voice rises a little at the
end, and her eyes widen.
Those eyes. Fuck, those baby blues that have always
undone me.
“Drunk? No. If I was drunk I’d be sitting at home
like a miserable bastard and not here facing the cause of my misery.”
“You’re being an asshole. I don’t have to listen to
this.”
She pushes on the door, but I wedge my foot in
front of it. I let go of the wall and grab the edge of the door.
“Actually, you do.”
She can’t overpower me, and she knows it, because
she lets up and the door swings open. “Why are you here, Conner?”
“You have a kid.”
She smacks her lips together. “Yep.”
“When? When did you have her?”
Sofie takes a deep breath in and presses her hands
to her stomach. They’re shaking, even as she links her fingers to hide it. I
can see that fucking tremble.
She whispers something but I’m too pre-occupied by
her hands to hear it.
“What?”
“August last year,” she repeats, still a whisper.
August. Last year. My stomach clenches as I meet
her eyes. “When? When in fuckin’ August, Sofie?”
“August fifteenth.” Her voice hitches halfway
through the ‘fifteenth.’
Almost seven months to the day she walked out on me
and the rest of Shelton Bay.
Adrenaline hums through my body, and I stare at
her. At the tears building in her eyes, the quiver of her lips, the bob of her
throat as she swallows harshly.
It’s no different from the burn in my chest, the
twisting of my stomach.
“Is she mine?”
She shudders and a tear drips from her eye.
“Sofie. Is. She. Mine?!”
