Title: Playing For Keeps (The Morgan Brothers #2)
Series: The Morgan Brothers
Author: Savanna Grey
Release Date: December 6th, 3013
NOTE: Even though this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a stand alone novel
I absolutely loved this book! Be ready to laugh a lot and cry a little.
Victoria (Tori) Winslow has come back to Oak Creek, Illinois after the death of the
grandmother who raised her. Tori feels alone as she must deal with her grandmother’s estate.
She would be truly alone if it were not for the Morgan family, the neighbors. Tori is like the daughter the Morgan family never had. Tori is also the best friend of the youngest son, Kevin. There are no secrets between Tori and Kevin except one. Tori has always had a crush on Drue, Kevin’s older brother and kissed him on the night of their high school graduation party. Coming back to Oak Creek gives Tori the change to put Drue firmly where he belongs – in her past. Or does it? Tori wonders if opposites do really attract. Can she convince Drue to give them a chance? Can she have a relationship with Drue and not ruin her friendship with Kevin? Only time will tell their story.
Playing for Keeps (book 2)
I couldn’t wait to read this book! The laughter and tears continue as we keep following
the story of the extended Morgan family. This story takes place 1-2 years after Coming Home.
Kevin Morgan, Tori’s childhood best friend and Katy Martin, her adult best friend are
unlikely allies when Tori has a health crisis. Katy drops everything during the holiday season to
rush back to Oak Creek and support her friend during her time of need. Kevin and Katy are repeatedly thrown together while taking care of Tori and getting ready for the holiday. They both feel the growing attraction and do their best to ignore it. Katy knows there are hidden depths to Kevin and she longs to throw caution to the wind but she hears the clock ticking on her time in Oak Creek. Kevin knows he wants Katy for keeps and races against the clock to convince her to stay and love him.
Both books can be read as stand-alones or as part of the series. Both were funny, had a part or two where I cried but when everything was said and done - left me with a very heartwarming feeling. I think back on the books and smile.
5 stars for both books

What's the craziest thing you've done for love? Well, as sad as it makes me I don't think I've ever been truly, truly in love. But knowing the feelings i have had I know that when i do find true honest love, i'd do just about any crazy thing i had to to. Happy Reading.
