Talk about swoon worthy! If you want to read about a man who is sexy, an alpha, swoon worthy & leaves you wanting a drool bucket then this is your book!
Mason aka Menace has sacrificed a lot in his young life. When I say young, I don’t mean young adult I just mean he isn’t as old as I first thought from reading the previous books in this series or even at the beginning of this book.
When Karina asked him his age I was really surprised! He is a single dad & he has done a stellar job raising his son.
Karina is an absolute darling. She is sweet, funny , sexy and has a backbone made of steel. She really loves with her whole heart and those around her easily fall in love with her.
Laramie Briscoe made a brilliant decision bring these two together, they are a perfect match in every way. They were strong characters right from the beginning of the story right through to the end.
The way they automatically meshed ones they reconnected after their 1st date was so natural & they acceptance of Masons son was amazing. He understood it was his dads turn to have a bit of happiness.
The characters are all likeable and mature regardless of their age and they bring new meaning to the word family. This group of people in the MTF are all inclusive and a beautiful self made family.
There are moments in this book that were so beautifully emotional that it literally brought tears to my eyes and of course in true Laramie Briscoe style there is a dramatic event thrown in that could change the dynamic of the MTF forever as well as turning Karina & Masons life in it’s head in a way they never saw coming. It is one of those moments where you truly see how strong of a family unit the MTF has become.
This is a 5 star read in every sense and I think anyone who one clicks it will love it as much as I did and even though it is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

I waited and waited and waited for Menace and finally, he is here.
I enjoyed this one so much. Menace has been a single father basically since Caleb was born. But now Caleb is 18 and he is ready for college and Menacerealizes that soon he is going to be on his own. So Caleb signs him up for online dating. And out of all the people he chatted with Karina was the only one he wanted to take out on a date. Well one awesome date and a hookup in the back of his jeep and Karina doesn't return his phone calls, she took her profile down on the dating site. So what did he do wrong?
Karina Holland left her own hometown after a terrible breakup and now two years later she finally feels like she is ready to put herself out there and to start dating. But Karina wasn't ready for Menace. She is totally blown away by him, he is everything that she could have hoped to meet. But she is hesitant. He is a single father, and she doesn't know if she can put her heart on the line again, hence the ignoring and dodging him when she runs into him. Until he walks into her classroom and she has no escape, but does she really want to escape?
I loved this book. Menace was my favorite from the beginning and his and Karina's story was a bit sad to start with but they both got exactly what they deserved and that was each other. You get a sweeet romantic single dad romance plus some suspense and intrigue with the Moonshine Task Force trying to find out who is selling it to the high school kids. This one was my favorite.

Menace and Karina. I've loved their story ever since I read the first snippet. I craved this story as soon as I found out about it. What started as possibly just a fling scared Karina, or Rina as Menace likes to call her. They started out HOT and never cooled down. Honestly, I had my own ideas about Karina and a certain problem that plagued the school. We learn more about that and more about the mysterious man that is Menace. Many women has wanted to be the subject of his affection but it just wasn't the right time. When you're a single dad, you have one main priority. Now that his son is almost out of the house and off to college, he figures it's okay for him to start focusing on himself a little more. And after Karina's past, she's not sure if she's ready to start something new and risk her heart again.
These two are fierce together. They can literally conquer anything. They're fun and unapologetically sexy. Menace has this controlling side behind closed doors that gets Rina every time. They way she cares for everyone affects Menace's softer side. Makes him start to want things he never thought he would. I love this series. And the next book to come...::praise Hands::, I can't freakin wait! I couldn't start this story quick enough. Seeing it on my kindle made my day and had me sneaking a read whenever I got the chance.
