I saw her first.
Blonde. Gorgeous. Feisty.
I was smitten.
But it didn’t matter because she chose him and
he was my best friend and roommate. I’d never be able to compete with that, so
I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn’t

The angst! Kennedy Fox always brings the heat, but the slow burn and the angst really got me this time. It’s what kept me intrigued! In the beginning, I thought it was all Hunter and Lennon. But things didn’t quite go that way. Instead they actually end up irritating the hell out of each other. Then the unthinkable happens and they both choose to lean on each other during one of the toughest times of their life.
In true Kennedy Fox fashion, I couldn’t put this story down. I know these stories will always be an easy read for me. I’m able to shut the world out and focus on the story itself. At this time in life, it’s exactly what I needed.
