Well…. I didn’t think she could pull it off yet again, but she did!
When I read the synopsis for this book/series I really thought “Oh yeah here we again with this storyline”… Boy was I surprised.. Really really surprised..
Meghan March has taken this plot and twisted it on its head.. She has created characters that should be hated and made them lovable and easy to relate to. It is hard not to feel empathy towards them.
This story is all about old traditions and how they affect future generations and how the oldies manipulate situations & people to do their bidding for them.
Some of the support characters are as funny as they are frustrating and provide a whole side of entertainment that complement the main storyline. I absolutely loved this first installment and cannot wait for the 2nd one to be released!

I love second chance romance stories and Lincoln and Whitney’s was such a page turner! Lincoln comes from money and Whitney’s family lost everything because of Lincoln’s family! It’s your typical we can’t be together love story but they have an undeniable connection and chemistry that is off the charts! But Lincoln’s mom and family all want him to steer clear of Whitney and Whitney’s family feels the same way about Lincoln. But life has so much more in store for them...and they both have a hard time fighting what’s they feel! How could something so wrong feel so right? Is love enough? Or will their families make it impossible to be together?
