Whoa. That's it. The only word that comes to mind.
Church is dark and twisted, all of the things that we shouldn't like but are secretly drawn to you don't realize it at first. You may not even like it at first, but just like Emma, there's a devil on your shoulder calling you to it. She's drawn to Church in ways she never has been before. He feeds her inner dark side that is on the brink of breaking out. Once it does, there's no stopping her. Church is a master manipulator in my opinion. He draws you in and then makes you his puppet. He found the perfect subject in Emma. Who knows where they'll go together, the things they can do.
I loved every word. Stories like this are hard to come by to me. When I find on, I cling to them. I crave more of them. This is my first read by Stylo Fantome, but it definitely will not be my last. When book 2 comes you, you can guarantee I'll be in line for it. I loved it all, the darker and more twisted, the better.

5 Stars

Author Bio

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.
