This is a fast faced adrenaline filled story about a young woman at the pinnacle of her career who knows what she wants and takes no prisoners.
When Trinity meets her new court clerk her world is spun on its axis and life as she knows it will never be the same.
Even though Callum is younger he is the ultimate gentleman and an alpha at heart. When her life is on the line he steps up and steps in when no one else would.
She is smart, sassy and for the life of her can’t understand why she should get a HEA or more importantly why he would want to give it to her.
She learns the true meaning of family & comes to understand that family is not always blood, but when you have a good family you stick to them and stick by them!
In true Chantal Fernando style there is some super sexy moments, lots of action & a little bit of humour.
If you are a fan of Ms Fernando, even if you are not, this is worth one clicking!

I have always been in love with this authors books. And this book was no exception.
Callum secured a job as a clerk for Judge Trinity Williams and this was exactly what he has wanted. But what he didn't expect was that he would be attracted to the cold intimidating women who's his boss. And Judge Williams can't believe that she is attracted to her new clerk. His just not what she wants. Too sweet and caring and too young that she doesn't know how to deal with him
But when an abduction got seriously wrong, she and Callum have to go into hiding. And that is when the fireworks really start.
I loved this book. Callum was attracted to his boss but he never disrespected her at work. She was the boss during the day but at night he showed her exactly who the boss was in the bedroom. I loved the suspense and the romance and the total hotness of this story. I need more. Can't wait for the next one
