OMG!!! It has been a long time since a book rocked my world like this one did! This story was phenomenal. HJB knows has an ability to put words together that not only make a story, they take you on an emotional journey alongside the characters. I cried so many tears while reading this story. Marlee's story will break your heart open, make it bleed a little, and then heal you back up. I finished this book while at work (don't tell) and a few of my co-workers asked me if I was okay since I was crying. This story moved me like few others have ever done. There was quite a bit of humor, as the characters were kind of goof-balls. VEGAS!!! But the undertone of the story was very emotional and somber. ALL of these characters are permanently linked to my soul. I know this is a book I will read over and over, especially when I need a good ugly cry!
