STONE by Victoria Ashley ~ RELEASE DAY BLITZ & REVIEW

Stone (Walk Of Shame 2nd Generation #1)

by
Victoria Ashley

My name is Stone Ridge and I’m a f*cking go getter…

I set my sights on what I want and go after it. Not giving up easily is what I’m known for.

Well… that and shaking my d*ck for money. I take pride in knowing I’m damn good at both.

Screaming girls everywhere, willing to drop their panties for me and toss their money my way, yet there’s only one girl that I can’t get out of my f*cking head. Especially since she’s my damn roommate.

Sage Knox…

Things were hot between us, both of us looking for the best f*cks of our lives; a way to have fun and get off without becoming attached.

Until I decided that being attached to her is what I want.

She pushed away, afraid of being hurt like she has been since the day her parents abandoned her and her brother Hemy. Every single person in her life has crushed her.

I understand her worries and I’m willing to do anything now to take them all away.

I’m making her mine one way or another… beginning with my damn body.

Holy wet panties Batman! This book should come with a warning! “Danger: Panties will be ruined! Ovaries also likely to explode!”  This book was incredible. I knew going into this book that Stonewould rock my world. I was really unprepared for how hard that rocking would be. He is everything I was hoping he would be and so much more. This storyline was amazing. Stone and Sage together is book writing magic. These two have such chemistry. I swear if I had been reading the paperback it would have burst into flames. There were several times I had to put this book down. Not because I wanted to. No. But because I had to calm myself down. The author has an amazing ability to put her words together in such a way that you feel like you are the character. That everything happening in the story is actually happening to you. This story had me so wound up I felt like I should have a smoke afterwards. I am very excited to get my hands on the next two books. MUST HAVE MORE W.O.S!!!!!

Welcome to Walk Of Shame 2nd Generation!
Can I just say...HOLY HOTNESS!
I am actually surprised that my kindle didn't burst into flames.
Good grief Victoria Ashley knows how to write hot, sexy goodness.
I wasn' t sure if I was going to like this second generation series. Only because I was being a W.O.S snob. I loved the original 3 and didn't think this author could top the original series.
Let me say..I am so sorry for doubting you Victoria Ashley. Stone is so lovable and hot...I want him for myself. Though I think Sage would have a thing or two to say about that.
This book is chock full of sexy times, laugh out loud times, new exciting, sexy men to get to know and times when all you wanna do is hug Sage and tell her it's all gonna be ok.
We also get to visit with the 3 original W.O.S men and their wives. So great to catch up and see what they've been up to.
This book will make you hot, hot, hot.
Can't wait for more W.O.S- 2.

Synopsis

My love was thick.
Her faith was thin.
Somewhere in the middle is where life found us.

I claimed her when I was a boy.
I held her until I was a man.
She was my first thought every morning, my last smile at night, and a million memories in between.
Then one night, with her warmth still lingering on the sheets, Aly King walked away from me, from us, from our life.

They say time heals all wounds, but not for me.
Not when my heart is empty.
Not when there is nothing but a sea of meaningless faces wherever I go.
It always comes back to her.
Aly needs reminding of how drunk our love made us, before she forgets completely.
Before we lose our chance.
Before we are irrevocably broken.

THE SUMMER GAMES: Settling the Score by RS Grey ~ RELEASE DAY BLITZ & REVIEW

Title: The Summer Games: Settling the Score
Author: R.S. Grey
Genre: Sports Romance/Romantic Comedy
Release Date: May 2, 2016
As an Olympic rookie, Andie Foster has spent far more time in her cleats than between the sheets. For 21 years, her Fridaynights have consisted of blocking shots rather than taking them. But now that she's landed in Rio, she's ready to see for herself if the rumors about the Olympic Village are true:
The athletes are all sex-crazed maniacs...
The committee passes out condoms like candy...
The games continue long after the medals have been handed out...
As Andie walks the line between rumor and reality, she's forced into the path of Frederick Archibald, a decorated Olympic swimmer and owner of a sexy British accent—too bad he's unavailable in a way that "it's complicated" doesn't even begin to explain.
In other words: off limits.
It doesn't matter that he has abs that could bring peace to the Middle East and a smile that makes even the Queen blush; Andie fully intends on keeping her focus on the soccer field. But the Village is small. Suffocating. Everywhere Andie goes, Freddie happens to be there—shirtless, wet from the pool, and determined to show her a whole new meaning of the phrase "international affairs".

Review by: Gina

I am never let down with a RS Grey book and The Summer Games was just as amazing as her other novels!!! I loved the setting of the book as the Summer Olympics! I don't if that how the Olympics really are, but it sounds a lot of fun and I wish I could go!!! The book is funny, sexy, engaging, frustrating (I blame Caroline) and over a lot of fun to read. It's been awhile since I've read a book with characters I really loved, along with a character that I really hated. It made for a very well rounded novel.

I loved Andie!!! She was smart, talented, determined and a fighter. All great qualities in a heroine. And Freddie...who can resist an Englishman!!! He was sweet, caring, passionate with just a little bit of edge to him. Then there is Georgie...I love that girl!!!! She was funny and told it like it was. She should have her own book, that would be amazing!!! It's been awhile since I've read a character that I truly detested and that would be Caroline. She was just so fake and manipulative and I was happy to read that in the end, everyone saw her for what she truly was, a very malicious person.

Overall, I loved this books. It was fun that the story was based around the Olympics. The story was very well written with a few twists and turns with great characters that were fun and engaging to read about. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way, I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things... everyday.
I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors include Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I'm a comedy geek and love all things "funny". Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.

Blurb

Being the subject of the hushed whispers from the acid tongues of her peers was something Belle Morgan had become accustomed to. That didn’t mean each barb didn’t scar her deeply. It did.

As Belle learns to trust Xander, he refrains from exposing a secret that will tear her scarred heart wide open. When the truth comes out, will he be able to piece Belle back together again?

Review by: Leeann

So if you know who Kasey Millstead is, you will know she writes amazingly hot cowboy stories. This is not one of those. This story is so different from Kasey's usual stories but it is also her best one yet.
She has taken a story about a girl who has been bullied for years and told it with class and eloquence. She has included many twists and turns and I have to say, I had no clue where this story was going and was completely flabbergasted when the penny dropped.

This is a story that I will be getting my daughter to read when she starts high school and I firmly believe that this book should be circulated into the high school curriculum everywhere. There are no sex scenes so there is no impropriety to be concerned about. Just imagine if this story could help just one person, how amazing it would be.

Kasey Millstead has shown her versatility and adaptability writing this story. I don't imagine for one second it was an easy topic to write about but she has done it in a way that draws you in and keeps you hooked from start to finish. It is clear she has done her research extensively and has not just randomly thrown words onto a page.

I would highly recommend that everyone reads this book. It is thought provoking and emotional and makes you want to climb into the pages and wrap Belle up in cotton wool then take her home with you.
I cannot say enough great things about this book and if I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would!

5++++++ shiny sparkly stars

Review by: Tatia

This book was more than I expected. I never saw the twist and turns that it took coming.
Belle doesn't have the best life. While she doesn't NEED anything, there are definitely many things she wishes were different. He home life isn't the best. Her parents are standoffish and don't show that they care for her much. She's extremely bullied at school. She's basically all alone. She's just trying to survive until graduation. After that she can leave and never look back. Things start to look up a little when she meets a boy named Xander. She's skeptical at first. With all that she endures at school, she can't believe that he would be interested in her. She slowly starts to trust him little by little. Xander reveals that he has something to tell her, but only when the time is right.
While this book wasn't anything that I saw coming, it left a mark on me. It broke my heart reading what Belle had to deal with. It's very thought provoking story that will have you double checking your actions as to not cause anyone this type of pain.
