Lila Rose (in my opinion) can write anything. I freaking love her MC series, but her romantic comedy books are freaking hilarious. This book was no different. Everything about this book I loved. Only one thing was missing for me and that is the drama (which you know I love) Everything else was freaking amazing.
Carter was the popular guy in high school and Reagan was the total opposite of him. She was not popular, she was a bit on the big side and she was a nerd. So hence not in his group. So he dated the popular girl too but also the bi**hy one as well. But he was always infatuated with Reagan, but to keep up with his status he never approached her or told her how he felt.
Now years later he is back in town. Still popular pro footballer but now he wants a simple life. He is done with the fame and soon will be retiring and then he meets Reagan again. And he knows now is his chance to finally get the women of his dreams. But it might be a struggle as she has friend zoned him.
Reagan is a quirky, funny, no filter English teacher. She loved teaching and her students love her. But she has a problem that when she is nervous she can't control what she says. (Which is freaking hilarious) and she just did it again with her high school crush.
But why doesn't it seem like her personality bothers him, can it be that her BFF was right and that Carter Anthony is into her???
This story was freaking hilarious, it was a slow steady romantic story that really will have you LOL, swooning, some parts made me want to slap someone, but most of all it was a story about second chances and that people can change when they grow up! Definitely another favourite for me from this author. I hope that Brooke and Dustin get their own book soon Lila Rose!

Lila was born in Brisbane Australia, her step-dad was in the Army which caused them to move around a lot. They finally settled in country Victoria, Australia. Being the youngest of four children she admits she was spoilt a bit. Even drove her mum crazy when she refused to eat meat at a young age.
Now, Lila lives with her husband and two children.
She started writing in 2013 and self-published the first of the Hawks MC: Ballarat Charter series- Holding Out. Since then, she has published eleven other titles, which range from erotica, humorous romance, YA and paranormal.
