REVIEW BY GINA

I fell in love with this book from page one! This book was funny, sweet, sassy and sexy! It was the perfect mix to make the perfect book!

In a why this is an opposites attract romance. These are two characters, based on their choice of colleges, have it ingrained in them to hate the other person. But sometimes a strong enough attraction can over come that or just not give into the rivalry. The "rivalry" made from some great banter between the characters. There were so many laughs while I was reading. There was also some drama and some oh so steamy scenes that filled in through out the book. It was a very well rounded, well written book!

Being a huge football fan, and dealing with my own household rivalry (my husband and I cheer for rival NFL teams) I can totally relate to these characters and I most definitely see myself and one and my husband as the other! That sort of connection makes the book even more special to me. Plain and simple, I loved this book and I think everyone needs to read it!

HOOO LEEEE CRAP! I LOVED this book hard. My goodness, I know that Nikki can write steamy, sultry sexy goodness but this was everything and more. This was sweet vs. cunning, adorable vs. cut throat all with a side of bad ass. Let’s face it, Kayla was a head strong amazing woman who knew exactly what she wanted…until jay turned things around and made her question everything she thought she knew about love and loyalty. She was cheering for the win and he came her biggest cheerleader.

I’ve heard of school rivalry but these two take it to the next level. Kayla is Buckeye fanatic fan #1. Living her dream as head cheerleader to THE ONLY school she would ever consider. Top of her game and able to put most men’s football knowledge to shame, there is absoultely nothing she doesn’t think she knows about the game. Enter Jay. Sweet innocent Jay. Wolverine by choice and great as his game. Until he meets the biggest play of his life and she happens to root for his biggest rival. Watching these two navigate a “forbidden” cat and mouse was entertaining rot say the least. They made me fall in love again with football and everything a young love can endoure.

I have to admit that the cover for this book threw me off a little. I was expecting some tortured bad boy and his hang ups, but what I got was so much better. It was my college years brought back. The thrill of the game, the roar of the crowd and the heat between two die hard fans that almost couldn’t get past their own competitiveness to see the the love blooming. This book was amazing and full of zest for more. It had me wanting to abandon all adult responsibilities to read more and more, really not wanting it to end and p[raying for a sequel. (Please Nikki!!) Well done in every angle and a completely enjoyable read. 4.5 stars and a complete recommend.

This tight end is at the top of his game.
He’s good with his hands, even better with his sexy mouth, and the best at making me forget my own name. His—ahem—stats are perfect. But I can’t fall for him. He might be everything I want, all rolled into a glorious package of gridiron god, but there’s one teeny-tiny problem. The vile, loathsome team I’ve spent my entire life hating—my beloved school’s arch-rival? This guy is their star player.

About the Author: Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there. Now she lives in Kentucky and manages a team of graphic artists. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America, is married with two sons, writes dirty books, and couldn’t be any happier.
