Synopsis:

For the past year, Jackson has been dealing with the fallout of his wife's abandonment. He's had to learn how to be a single father to their eight-year-old daughter, and will do anything to fill the void her mother left. It isn't until he commissions Millie for his daughter's birthday party that he realizes he's forgotten that he's not only a father, but a man.
They both think they're content in their lives, but sometimes the right amount of spice can turn an okay dish into a magnificent one. A Pinch of Salt may be all that's needed to bring Millie and Jackson the flavor they've been missing.

This was such a nice sweet romantic laid back story. Don't get me wrong still had it's drama and ups and downs. But for most part it was just a sweet story. I loved both characters in this book
Millie is a talented chef who just opened her own business with her two sisters. Finally they are doing what they love to do and honoring their mother as well.
So for Millie her life is pretty good right now, until Jackson steps into their shop frantic as he needs help with his daughter’s birthday party, and she wants a tea party. Millie doesn't normally do the decorating part of the party but the minute she saw Jackson she was attracted to him and she couldn't help herself and she agreed to help him.
Jackson's wife left him about a year ago, just upped and decided that she needed to live her life. So it's only been him and his daughter. But the minute he steps into the Three Sisters catering store and meets Millie he is infatuated with her. And he thinks he is ready to move on with his life.
You're the pinch of salt we needed to spice up our lives, and I'm grateful that someone as amazing as you would fall for a romantic literature nerd like me
This book was so sweet and romantic and Jackson was just so swoon worthy that you didn't have a choice but to fall in love with him. And believe me you will fall in love with their story as well. A definite feel good story that will leave you with a happy smile on your face.
And I can't wait to read the rest of the sisters stories. Tasha and Jericho I am waiting for your story.
