When two of my favorite authors come together to write a single book, that's a whole of epicness right there! These two authors bring us a story that is funny, super hot, but sweet at the same time. It's just the best thing since sliced bread! 

This story line was the best! I've read a few books where the character's have a blog but NOTHING like this one! It was new and unique and made the book stand out from anything else I've read. The book flowed effortlessly! From their meeting, to how their relationship evolved, to the big climax (Haha..climax) and how everything came back together. And the character's where so likable. It was hard not to fall in love with them. They had chemistry that just lit up the page! 

Overall, this book is simply fantastic! Heat and humor are the best combination and this book has plenty of that! These two author definitely need to write more book together because they make the best book babies! Pick this one up, you will not regret it!

Holy Hotness this book started off with a bang! (Pun intended, lol)

Dr Elle McCray was going through a tough time right now. Her husband cheated on her, and her boyfriend left her for someone else. So right now she thinks the universe is against her and she is just angry. It's like she has cut herself off from all her emotions. So why does it seem like she hates Lane Cannon so much. And seriously he's a sexual surrogate, which in her mind = Hooker!

Lane Cannon is a sexual surrogate at the rehab center for the rich and famous. And he is damn good at his job, not that he has to blow his own horn. So why does Dr Elle McCray get under his skin so bad. And what is this sexual tension between them.

So why do they both just piss each other off all the time. And why can't they get enough of each other.

Lane was awesome, I loved him from the minute he was introduced. Elle I had to warm up to her though. She comes across as this cold hearted ice queen, but if you know what she's been through you kind of understand sympathize with her.

I loved this book! It was Hot, Sexy, Steamy, Funny, and will have you hooked from the first page.

I didn't know if I wanted to read this book. I mean seriously I thought we hated Alexis. And now... Oh No, I didn't want that. I wanted to hate her some more.

But for an author to take a character that I'm sure most everyone who read this book hated, and turn her into a good guy, well props to you.

Alexis left Chicago and was hoping for a new start. No more drama and no trouble around. But as always that doesn't work when you seem to attract drama. Complications with her dream of being a baker and a sexy forbidden man who can make that happen, well what can she do.

Marshall moved to try and make work his own upscale cocktail bar, but he misses something on his menu. Something that nobody else had on their menu. So can he make a deal with the she-devil herself and what about the sexual chemistry and how will he explain this to his best friend and his business partner?



I enjoyed this book, like I said making a villain into a hero, very hard to do, but I have to say this author pulled it off well. And I suppose like every drama, there is always two sides to a story and here we get to see Alexis as a different person and I have to say by the end of the book, I was convinced that everyone deserves a second chance.
Definitely recommend this series.

OH EM GEE!!! I absolutely LOVED this book!!! I didn't want it to end! It was funny, sweet and oh so hot!!! 

I wasn't sure how much I was going to like Valentine. She was this "rich" girl from New York with her designer clothes and high end tastes but she really surprised me. After she transplanted herself to the Alaskan wilderness, she dove right into adapting to the culture change. I was expecting her to be all uptight but she wasn't at all. She was just a really fun and adventurous character. 

Then there is Logan, holy swoon!!! Sure, he had his fair share of not so nice moments, but his sweetness and dirty talking totally made up for all of that! I don't think anyone else would have been able to handle Valentine like he did! 

I thoroughly enjoy the story line! It was super fun to read. I was so engulfed with the story, I didn't even realized how much time had passed by! I was into the story that much!  While I did find a few parts to be predictable, I still very much enjoyed how the turned out. 

Overall, I loved this book! It was hilarious, super sweet, romantic, but really hot! Logan..he knows what he's doing! I thought the story was really well written, had a storyline that a adored, and characters that were amazing to read about. If you enjoy a really good romcom, pick up this book!

About the Author

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. This book is a great short read about two people who think they are in control of their circumstances only to realise they never really were!

Hudson is a wealthy man who is used to getting what he wants and is not above manipulation to achieve that.

And right now he wants Mari…

Mari works for Hudson and can’t stand him. She likes life uncomplicated and simple. Hudson is anything but..

This story is well detailed and pretty much leaves nothing to chance. The story flows well, the characters although faulted are likeable.

There are lots of little suprises and twists and turns. It keeps the reader on their toes and is entertaining.

The main characters are both complex and straight forward and the support characters are fantastic. The pop up in all the right places and stay in the

background when they are not needed.

This is very much worth one clicking!!

“Maybe it is. And maybe I am. But I know it could work.”
