Review by Erin:

This story was phenomenal. Right off the bat, I was rolling with laughter. Emory and Knox's first meeting really sets the tone for the story. I love the way she makes him work for it. She really is serious when she says she needs a friend, not a relationship. The bond that forms between these two is exceptional. Full of fun and lots of laughs, but it definitely has all the feely moments as well. I FLOVE Mama G!!! She fits me so well, minus the bedazzling. I am THAT mom!!!! I enjoyed her scenes so much! I seriously want to pack Emory and Knox up and move them next door! I loved this book and you will too!!

Blurb:
Have you heard the rumor around campus about the locker room? If you haven't, let me enlighten you: Legend has it if you bring a girl into the sacred after-game domain of the baseball locker room, it will end with a walk down the aisle. One rowdy and naked encounter against the lockers with the girl of your dreams will make her your wife. Translation: baseball players are stupidly superstitious and believe the locker room has magical powers. But not all baseball players are superstitious, me included. So when the girl I've fallen for brushes me off, I start to question if I need to switch my way of thinking. Maybe it's time I finally hand out a coveted invitation to the locker room. The only question is, will she accept?

Excerpt:
This map is useless.
Easy to read, my ass. I need a magnifying glass to make out any of the color-coded buildings on this thing and unfortunately, I left my magnifying glass in my other skirt. That was sarcasm, if you didn’t catch it.
Standing next to a wonky-looking tree, I try to act as casual as possible—hip popped out, interested glances, the usual—as I hide a school map beneath the pages of Pride and Prejudice , while off-handedly looking for the MacMillan building. But the wind—though subtle—isn’t making things easy.
Recently transferred from Cal State, Fullerton, I’m attempting to avoid making a fool of myself on the first day of fall classes at my new school, Brentwood University.
Unfortunately, I’m way out of my element.
For one, I know nothing about this school other than they have the best library sciences program in the country. Making the transfer a no-brainer for me the minute I realized I wanted to be a librarian. I dabbled in business at Cal State, but who was I kidding? I had no right trying to figure out micro-and macroeconomics.
A California girl through and through, Illinois is nothing like the palm trees and beaches I’ve grown up with. Don’t get me wrong, there are trees here, huge, plush, green trees everywhere, the kind of trees Bob Ross made dance on his canvas. But the smog . . . I have no idea where that is. Breathing fresh air almost feels wrong. And apparently pizza is a big deal here. I’ve heard at least three separate arguments since I’ve moved about which pizza in town is best. Let’s all be friends and be grateful there is good pizza here.
And even though this is a “small” school town outside Chicago, it’s larger than life with boisterous personalities and ivy-covered buildings that cause me to believe I’m walking on the hallowed grounds where the prosperous were educated.
Plus, I had to buy leggings for all my skirts, because the temperature doesn’t call for bare legs out here.
The wind picks up again, lifting my skirt and map at the same time. Not wanting to be known as the resident flasher on campus, I save the skirt—because even though I have leggings, I chose not to wear them today—and tamp it back down on my legs as the map lifts from my book, floats into the air, twirling and swirling only to smack a passing guy right in the face.
Whap .
“What the—?” He startles and I jump into action.
“I’m so sorry,” I say, scrambling to hold my skirt down while clutching my parted book at my chest.
The map is slowly peeled away and a pair of beautiful light blue eyes peek past the paper first, followed by the sharpest jawline I’ve ever seen, defined and tense. Light scruff matches his dirty-blond hair that is swept to the left and cut short on the sides. Dressed in a green Brentwood baseball sweatshirt and wearing a jaw-dropping smile, he chuckles and hands me the map while eyeing me up and down.
Why is he so familiar?
Those eyes.
“Not a problem, but you could have asked for help if you were lost. Slapping me with a map is an aggressive tactic, effective, but aggressive.”
That voice, that smirk. I know it from somewhere.
Feeling a light blush creep up my cheeks, I say, “Not used to the wind.”
He nods and thumbs behind him. “Lake Michigan. It’s a bitch in the winter.” He studies me for a second and then nods at my map. “Where you headed? I can help.” There is the smallest southern drawl in his voice, nothing strong, but enough to tell me he’s not from Illinois.
I know that voice. I remember specifically thinking it was hot.
Tamping down my map and folding it in my book that I snap shut quickly, I say, “I promised I’d figure this all out on my own, but looks like I might need a little help after all.”
“Don’t blame yourself; this campus is a maze with no rhyme or reason. I was lost my entire first semester. Can’t tell you how many times I was late to class.”
“That’s reassuring.”
He tilts his head to the side and gives me a small once-over. “I know you.” I don’t say anything and just as his eyes land on my chest, a smile creeps over his face, a light bulb lighting in his head. “You’re the girl who helped me find my room on Saturday.”
Oh.
Shit.
It’s the yellow-door baseball guy.
He leans forward, hands stuffed in his pockets and says, “I never forget a good pair of tits.”
As if I wasn’t blushing enough already.

Excerpt:

I look up into his dark eyes. “This is a dangerous game of cat and mouse we’re playing.” “More like a game of cat and bird,” he corrects. I straighten my posture, my nipples grazing his hard chest. “And we all know how that turns out in the end. The cat eats the bird.” Nine lightly scrapes his nails over my bare arms before pressing them into my skin. I gasp at the slight bite of pain. “No, the pretty bird swoops down from nowhere and sinks her sharp talons into the cat, marking him for life.” There’s no sarcasm in his voice. I don’t know how to begin to process what it is he’s saying. It takes all of my concentration to get out my next few words. “And...and then what?” Nine picks me up off the floor in one quick motion, flipping me back onto the bed. He crawls over my body, hovering above me, pinning my wrists to the mattress. He grazes his teeth over the sensitive spot behind my ear. He lowers his voice to a deliciously deep rumble that has me vibrating with his every word. “And then he eats her.”

LETTERS TO MOLLY by Devney Perry - RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW

Molly Alcott didn’t expect to open her mailbox one summer morning and find an old letter stuffed between bills and a supermarket flyer. Penned in familiar handwriting, dated over fifteen years ago, the letter was written to Molly after her first date with the man she’ll never forget.

Week after week, new letters appear. Each marks an event in the history of their epic love affair. Each heals a wound. Each holds the confession of the man who still owns Molly’s heart.

The letters are full of promise, hope and love, but truth be told, Molly wishes she could unread them all.

Because the man who wrote these letters is not the one sending them.

Review by Erin:

Talk about an emotional rollercoaster!! This book is chock full of all the feels and will have you fully immersed in the story in no time. Right out of the gate, I was like.... Did I miss something? But I quickly got on board with how the storyline was gonna go. Finn and Molly are two of the most real characters I have read in a long time. They are fully submerged in life and how it just runs you over without you even knowing it is happening. Their story is beautiful, but full of pain and regret on both sides. All it takes is a little nosy nudge from a friend to get them back on their path to forever. Definitely one of my Top Reads this year.

Review by Gina:

This is a second chance romance that will melt your heart!

We first met Molly and Finn in The Birthday List and only got hints of what happened to their relationship. In Letters to Molly we get all the heartbreaking and emotional details that lead to their divorce but also how they ended up finding their way back to each other. The author did a great job on capturing all the emotions in their story! I could feel the words as I was reading them. It made me feel like I was a part of their story. While the author did a great job with the characters I do wish there was just a little more dramatics to push the story above and beyond. There was just a little something I was missing. Overall, it was an amazing story! It was well written! I loved how the letters were worked into the actually story. This is one I would highly recommend!

WRITTEN WITH YOU by Aly Martinez - RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW

WWY - RB banner.jpg

“Aly Martinez is one of the best in the business. You have to read her books.” --Meghan March, New York Times Bestselling Author

Written With You, the emotional and highly anticipated conclusion to The Regret Duet from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez, is available now!

WW You FOR WEB.jpg

When I was fifteen, a single bullet changed my life. I spent the next decade trying to outrun the devastation of my past, building an empire that would shield me from whatever life could throw at me.
But all the money in the world couldn’t help me when I found a screaming newborn abandoned on my doorstep.
I’d never wanted to be a father. Passing the sludge that ran through my veins down to an innocent child seemed like a tragedy. But there she was—pink cheeks, red hair, and mine.
Somehow, against all logic, that little girl became the best thing that ever happened to me. It was impossible to stay lost in the past when I was the only one who could protect her future.
Which is exactly why, when her mother came back four years later, I was ready for battle.
If only I could stop myself from falling in love with her during the war.

Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.
By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.
When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.
But that was where my fairytale ended.
Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.
At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.
I owed Caven my life.
However, I owed that innocent child more.
And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

Review by Tatia:

Talk about a shocker! Holy wow! After the way the first book ended, I didn’t quite know what to expect. It was a true cliffhanger that had me begging for the next book.  But this one....I could have never expected any of it! There were so many different twists that I didn’t see coming, not until right before they hit me in the face. I literally can’t tell you anything about what happens in the second half of this duet because I don’t want to take a chance on possibly spoiling the story for anyone. Just know that you MUST read this! Aly Martinez is a true literary genius!

Review by Flavia:

I am telling you now that this duet was not what I expected. Which is a norm with this author. I can tell you from the first book to the second it just gets better. The suspense, the drama, the intrigue, the love story, the angst everything is hightened. And you will not want to stop reading I promise you.
The love that these two feel for each other even after the cliffhanger of the previous book, will have you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happened, how it happened, why did it happen, who's to blame, how are they going to make it through this whole ordeal and come out stronger than before.

I cannot recommend Aly Martinez's books enough. Especially if you a fan of angst and suspense, then you will not be disappointed at all.
Freaking amazing Duet again.... I dont even want to know how she will top this one :-)

SEXY FILTHY BOSS by Piper Rayne - RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW

He’s the sexy alpha male in the corner office who goes through assistants faster than free donuts in the breakroom.

I’m the assistant who was chosen to cover for his last fire.

The owner of the company is clear—hook the biggest client in our firm’s history and there’s a partnership for him and a promotion for me. Stipulation—we do it together.

It doesn’t take a tarot card-reading psychic to figure out where our story is headed… late nights, trips out of town, and more than a few awkward moments filled with sexual tension.

No worries though. I pride myself on my willpower. I can totally ignore his sexy grin, his rock-hard body and his dreamy brown eyes. I will not become the woman other women hate.

But it turns out that Enzo Mancini has a lot of layers and if I don’t stop peeling, I’m going to lose everything, including my dignity.

The title speaks for itself! Don’t miss this sexy OFFICE ROMANCE romantic comedy coming June 11th!

Review by Flavia:

Oh man, I really can't get enough of this duo. Every book I have read just makes me want more.
Enzo Mancini just can't seem to keep any assistant. As the case is now, another one just quit. Now what? He did not need this headache now, he is up for partner and he can't afford any mistakes.
Annie Stewart is part of the Admin team and the pa to another boss, so when she is asked to fill in as Enzo's assistant she is not happy. She really does not want to work for this grouchy man.
But both of them are surprised. Enzo with how efficient Annie is and Annie that there is more to this man than just being the boss
Spending more and more time together means they cannot run from this sizzling chemistry and its kind of tough when you spend late night toghether...
What I always love about this duo's writing is the LOL moments, the fiestiness of the heroine and that she can stand up for herself. The awesome banter between the couple and the rest of the characters in this book. I know this series is going to be another winner. And i cannot wait for the next brother's book!

5 Stars

“Please. Come on, Mr. Mancini.”
Even I notice how weird that sounds coming from her mouth now that our working relationship has turned into more of a tenuous friendship. “Enzo.”
“If I call you Enzo, can I pay my share?” She bats her eyes a few times.
I twist my lips, thinking about it. The taxi driver huffs, annoyed that we’re holding him up. “Sure.”
“Please, Enzo?” she says, stressing both words.
The sound of her voice saying my name like that spurs images of her naked on my bed, begging me to fuck her. Her back arched, her delectable tits prominently on display with her legs spread. I shift in my seat to hide my growing hard-on.
She drops the forty dollars onto my lap and opens the door, leaving before I come back to myself. I lift the forty off my half chub, concocting a plan to get this back to her without her knowing it.
Her voice rings in my head one more time. Please, Enzo?
I might as well admit defeat. Tonight my dreams will be filled with me, Annie Stewart, and the word please.

HIDE YOUR CRAZY by Lani Lynn Vale - RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW

I’m kind of a lady, but definitely more of a weirdo.

Hearing the woman at the table behind him say that to her friend should’ve turned Logan Gibbs off.

It doesn’t. In all honesty, it only makes him listen harder.

He’s had enough weird in his life to last a lifetime. The last thing his complicated life needs is a woman in it who has no clue what color you get when you mix yellow and blue together.

Yet, her obvious blonde moments aren’t enough to deter him. Nor is her lack of finger-painting skills.

I’m a cop, not a miracle worker.

Hearing the man in the group behind her say that should’ve had Katy Roberts running away as fast as her feet would carry her. Katy’s father’s a cop, and it’s hard enough to live her life with Daddy trying to dictate her every move. She needs another cop in her life like she needs yet another thing to go wrong.

To add onto that, she can’t find a job, has no love life to speak of, and has to be the oldest known virgin in Kilgore, Texas.

Yet, when she sees his painting—a painting that resembles a piece of the male anatomy more than the lighthouse they were supposed to be painting—she knows that she has to give him a chance.

The very last thing the two of them expect is for her father and his boss to force them to marry after an eensy-weensy accident. An accident that, surprisingly, both of them want.

Review by Flavia:

Having finally gotten her life together and starting a new job Katy Roberts is finally ready to take on the world again. With her big German Shepherd dog Lou she is finally content with her life. Well until she meets Logan Gibbs. First time she met him her dog jumped out of the car and just ran down the street, leaving Katy to just abandon her car and get a ticket for it. The second time he was the man that was keeping her out of sleep. Now he is just the guy that is keeping her safe and keeping her from sleepwalking in the middle of the night
Logan Gibbs does not know what he did to piss off his boss that he has to be a part of the new Kilgore motorcycle unit, wearing a uniform that is so tight you can literally see everything, lol... And now giving a women a ticket for parking her car in the middle of nowhere, not realizing she is his downstairs neighbour and also the daughter of the Chief of Police.
After Katy and Logan get all their 'issues' with each sorted, its like they blend into each other lives so easily. Even though both of them come with some heavy baggage. But also added baggage of someone maybe looking out for them, taking out everyone who has wronged them, but now it looks like both of them are suspects in the various crimes...
I always, always enjoy Lani's books and this one was a good start to this series. And can we just say #sigh for this amazing cover...
For those that have been reading her books for a while, Katy is Luke Robert's daughter from Center Mass the Kilgore Swat Series. Katy went through something terrible but even though it affected her deeply she is also open to experiencing something different with Logan. The same with Logan, also burned from a previous relationship but that didn't stop him from jumping into the relationship with Katy. I loved that they got close so quickly, no BS no overly dramatic efforts, the liked each other and from then on they stood by each other. Loved it. I can't wait to see who the next book is about, but i know it will be another amazing ride!
