 APRIL 30th!

He changed my life.
With a smile, a flick of his wrist and a death-defying stunt.
He was six and I was five.
And now, thirteen years later, I am hopelessly in love.
There is only a slight problem.
He doesn’t know I exist.
He’s the star quarterback.
I’m a science nerd who hides in the shadows.
I don’t need anyone to tell me that college won't change anything.
I know he’s the star of this story.
And I belong in the audience.

Parker Elliot is going to Penmore State University miles away from home. She's leaving her small town because Penmore has a fantastic science department, because she needs to begin exploring the life she wants to lead and because Grayson Waters is the starting quarterback for the Penmore Herons.

Grayson Waters at first glance lives life to the fullest, but he is dealing with more than meets the eye. A con artist father in trouble with local mobsters, an illegitimate brother living close by, the pressure of leading his team to the championship game and a desire to pursue a career outside the football field. Decisions need to be made. For Gray, slipping into the shadows with a pretty and observant brunette might be just what he needs to finally make the right ones.

Stars By Malorie Verdant get 5 stars!!!!! I always love a good read with a hot athlete but Grayson Waters  was so much more than that! Once he meets Parker Elliot (someone he has been closer too almost all his life but never noticed) he learns and finds what he never knew was right next door.

I found this to be a complete page turner and I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next in this story.  I loved that it wasn't predictable and kept me intrigued. I fell in love with Grayson and Parker & I know you will to. Grab this and start it and fall in love with your not your typical star quarterback & a shy, sexy & innocent soul.

Stars turned out to be more than I expected. I thought this was going to be my next easy read, a sweet story that I knew I'd love. It turned out to be all of those things and more.
When you first start to read, it may seem like your typical girl next door falls for the high school quarterback, but don't be fooled. Parker fell in love with Grayson when they were just kids. When the one chance she has to introduce herself goes horribly wrong, she settles with just observing from afar. She even ends up at the same college as him still lurking in the shadows, too shy to come out of hiding. Until one day when he notices her. It's definitely a memorable "first" meeting.
I couldn't have enjoyed this more. Well, there was one part that I didn't like only because of what happened to one of my favorite characters. You'll know it when you read it. For my first read by Malorie Verdant, I was impressed. I can't wait for more. I look forward to everything she releases next.

I loved the originality of this storyline.  While I've read similar stories I haven't read anything quite like this one.  It was sweet, full of twists and turns, and kept me eager for more.

Parker was the kind of heroine you love.  Gorgeous but unassuming, smart, and fierce when she needed to be. Watching her character grow throughout the book was beautiful.

Grayson had the perfect life, or so it seemed.  He was a mash up of football hero, momma's boy, and secret romantic.  He kept Parker on her toes but also learned a lot from her.

This book was exceptionally written and I have now found another one click author. Can't wait to see what she gives us next!!

I first started reading romance when I was twelve.

My mother handed me her copy of Nora Robert’s Midnight Bayou and with resignation said, “Here you’ll love it, just skip the sex scenes or at least tell me you did.”

She knew I was young and she hoped I didn’t understand the diverse innuendos, but she also saw early on that I was a hopeless romantic and had a joy and thirst for romance novels that not even she and her protective motherly instincts could stop.

Crossing The Line by Jacquelyn Ayres ~ COVER REVEAL

Book: Crossing The Line (The GEG Series #3)
Author: Jacquelyn Ayres
Genre: erotic romance/humor

Synopsis

Psychotherapist, Madelyn St. Claire, has all the answers. At least, that’s what the plaques on her wall say. There isn’t a fear she’s met that she hasn’t helped a client blast through. So, why can’t she work through her own?
Oh, that’s right…
She’s been so busy helping everyone else through their challenges over the years, including her best friends—the GEGs—that she never even realized she had any of her own true fears. Then again, she didn’t have a reason to until he came along. Cellist, Declan Pierce, can hit all the right notes, as long as he’s hitting them on stage. When he’s off . . . well—he’s off. So, he keeps his head down and tries to stay focused on his career and his son, Hunter. They have shared in a trauma that would bring most closer. However, theirs has only weighted their bond down, slowly causing them to drift further and further apart.
That is until a beacon of light shines through. That beacon is about five-foot-nothing, all curves, heart, brains, and no BS. But that is only part of this story.
It’s a long road to Happily Ever After. Maddie and Declan learn that it takes more than just the two of them to get there, and it’s not a smooth stroll. It’s not meant to be, though, is it? Life can give you whiplash. Buckle in and hold tight to those closest to you because, honestly…
It takes a village to make love epic.

Meet the Author

I am a domestic engineer (born and raised in NJ) whose sole responsibility is to guide three young, impressionable kids into becoming phenomenal adults. This challenging yet rewarding work requires a lot of love (coffee), patience (wine), and determination (periodic exorcisms). I work this magic from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
Before becoming a domestic goddess (not really), I spent over a decade in the medical field, where I wore more hats than the Queen.
I have loved the written word and the great escape it provides since I was a little girl. When I wasn't reading about people and the places they lived, I was creating my own characters and adventures.
Finding myself again through my writing in The Lost & Found Series, The One, and The GEG Series has been nothing short of a dream come true. Also, it makes people feel better when I laugh randomly or talk to myself, knowing it's my characters and not "the voices" . . . that would be creepy.

The Player and the Pixie by Penny Reid ♥ BLOG TOUR & REVIEW

ThePlayerPixie_Tour
The Player and the Pixie by L.H. Cosway and Penny Reid
Publication Date: April 12, 2016
Genres: Contemporary, Romance, Sports, Humor

PATP

How can someone so smokin’ hot be so bad in bed? I mean, Sean Cassidy is absolute rubbish. RUBBISH. He is the epitome of walking, talking false advertising and I want a refund! Plus he’s an arsehole. So… what is wrong with me that I can’t stop thinking about him? The Pixie and the Player is a full-length, romantic comedy novel, can be read as a standalone, and is the second book in the Rugby Series.

THE PIXIE Lucy Fitzpatrick doesn’t like rugby. As the little sister of Ireland’s most infamous rugby player, Lucy can’t seem to escape the championship-sized shadow cast by her big brother, or her mother’s frequent attempts to micromanage her future. Her rainbow hair is as free-spirited as her quest for inner peace, yet overbearing expectations keep bringing her down. And when she’s down, her compulsive little problem lands her in seriously big trouble.

THE PLAYER Sean Cassidy is a cold-hearted brute… or so he’s been told. Frequently. By everyone. His blonde locks, baby blues, and rock hard bod make ladies the world over drool with desire. As the rugby world’s second most infamous player, he should be basking in his success. But Sean has never been content settling for second place, and his frequent confrontations with Lucy’s big brother leave him cold. And when he’s cold, his compulsive little problem lands him in the lap of Lucy Fitzpatrick.

THE PLAN Sean has a problem only Lucy can solve. Lucy has a problem only Sean can fix. The solution seems obvious: you scratch my back, and I’ll bail you out of jail. But when their business arrangement unexpectedly leaves Sean scorching hot and Lucy on the precipice of inner peace, can they convince the world—and Lucy’s big brother in particular—that this is the real deal? Either way, both the Player and the Pixie are about to teach each other some pretty monumental lessons about family, life, but most importantly, love.

Review by: Gina

Penny Reid and LH Cosway make such a fantastic writing duo. I've read the first book in the series and loved it so I was super excited to hear they were writing another one. I thought it book was funny, witty, and with a side of sexy!!! While Lucy and Sean would seem like opposites on paper, they actually had a lot in common and I think that's what helped bring them together. I loved the twist with Sean!!! Turns out he isn't the typical alpha male, ladies man that you might think. He had his own little surprise that Lucy helped him with.

I thought the story was well written and had a great story line. It was fresh and unique. I liked that these two seemed like opposites but actually had a lot in common. That made for fun conversations.  Both these characters have their secrets and there was something with Lucy's secret that I just had a hard time grasping, wasn't really feeling it but it did fit well into the story. I enjoyed reading about past character along with reading about future ones.

Overall, this is another amazing book from these two authors. I highly recommend it along with the first book, The Hooker and the Hermit. They can be read as standalones. I am looking forward to the next book!

SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-6, girl-4 as of this writing). By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.

Dick by RC Stephens ~ REVIEW TOUR

Title: Dick: A Bad Boys Novel
Author: R.C. Stephens
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 25, 2016

My name is Dixon Crawford—my friends call me Dick. I’m rich, divorced and I have two small kids. When it comes to women, I like to play the field. I don’t want to ever be tied down again. I met Eden at a Presidential gala and, yes, I was intrigued. When school started in September I was shocked to learn Eden was my son’s kindergarten teacher… I’d slept around with the lonely rich mothers at the school and had earned a reputation. A reputation Eden knew about… Eden was on the untouchable list—the band on her finger screamed, “I'm taken.” But when she got into trouble with her husband she asked me for help and I obliged. I soon discovered that innocent Eden had secrets of her own. I also discovered she was beyond tempting. Giving her a little friendly help turns into something bigger than I ever imagined…. My name is Dick. I'm told I'm an asshole, but you will need to read my story and decide for yourself!

Review by: Erin

I loved this storyline. What are the chances of finding someone after so long? These two characters have overcome abandonment by their families. They have suffered through the pain of loss and the feelings of unworthiness. They have both grown so much in the time they have been apart. Dick still has some emotional revelations to come that will leave you in tears of joy. Eden has to decide what it is she wants and what she feels she deserves out of life. The secondary characters played a big role in this storyline. I don’t want to give anything away, but if you love books about finding lost love, this is your book.
