AP - Synopsis.jpg

Lust, love, and second chances.

Growing up in the fast-paced and rough life of a motorcycle club wasn’t easy. Cleaning up the mess his father had made of Vipers Creed meant sacrifice. Cade ‘Spook’ Baker had given up everything to bring the club life back to what it was supposed to be: a family.

The choices he made were not what he wanted, but they were necessary for the club as a whole.
Second chances rarely came to Spook, so when his Trixie walked boldly into his clubhouse, the decision was made. Trixie would once again be his, this time for good.

Trix Lamasters was raised by a master—a master con. All grown up, she made her life solid by making it about her club, Sirens. But one bad business decision brought her to her knees, forcing her to call on the one person she had sworn she would never trust again.

Pasts have a way of not staying there. Things that were buried deep have a way of finding themselves in the light of a new day. Could something that had once crashed and burned for Spook and Trixie find a way out of the wreckage? With the odds against them, can they find a way to overcome the challenges, or will it all blow up in their faces?

I LOVE this author. I loved the Ravage MC series so I knew that I would love this book and I never even read the blurb first. I went in blind and I can say that I was not disappointed. Cade and Trix will grab your heart and not let go. These two have a long history. They have a connection that years apart has not been able to sever. Cade knows when Trix walks back into his life that the time to come clean and take back what is his, is now. Trix doesn’t want to go to Cade for help, but she knows she has to. She has got her life exactly how she wants it and is content, if not happy. The chemistry between these two could make stars fall from the sky. The author has an amazing ability to write a story that makes you wish you were the main character, to be able to feel that kind of love and devotion. The depth and emotion that go into her stories is phenomenal. I am excited to see where this series might lead and how many more bikers can find their HEA.

I am a total Ryan Michele fan! I love everything she writes and was not disappointed with this book! I love MC Romances, this book was no exception. Such a fabulous start to a new series. I picked this book up and read it in one sitting i just couldn't put it down the twist and turns kept me engaged and entertained right to the end.

Challenged is Trixie/Trix and Spook's (Cade) story. Trix was raised by a single father, who also happened to be a con-man. Cade grew up in the MC his father being the previous president. They share a past which raises a lot of old feelings and resentment and issues of trust.

Trix is the perfect match for a present of an MC she is independent, stubborn, strong and doesn't back down from a fight. Spook is a hot, bad-ass, sexy alpha male, who doesn't like to take no for an answer and basically takes what he wants.

This story had a little bit of everything, suspense, romance and angst and mixed in are quite a few panty melting hot love scenes.

Although there were a few similarities to the Ravage MC series, in all i felt that it has quite a different feel and thoroughly recommend this book to any lovers of MC Romance.

What's not to love about a story focusing on brotherhood, respect, and men who are bossy, protective, sexy and strong alpha males. The Vipers Creed MC is full of hot alpha males, I can't wait to read more of their stories as they find their other half.

Trix and Spook, you know a book is going to be bad ass when the MC's have such great names.  I enjoyed everything about this book. The storyline was unique, the plot was entertaining, and the characters were so relatable.

Spook was one of the best characters that Ryan Michele has written.  He was this big  biker, club president, and all around badass. But at the same time he had no problem expressing his feelings.  He knew what he wanted and he took it.  He was incredibly loyal, honest, and would give his life for those considered family.

Trix is self assured and independent.  She runs her own business, her employees fear and respect her.  But with all of this her past still haunts her.  Hers is a lonely life until Spook and his brother's force their way into it.

When they come together their past comes back to cause them problem, an old flame is reignited, and they find out that maybe their stronger together than they ever were apart.

Spook
I woke to a very cold bed. My hand reached out, touching nothing. I listened, but I didn’t hear a sound. It surprised me. I usually slept lightly, never knowing when I needed to be on guard. Something about being in bed with her, having her cuddled up to me, had me sleeping like a fucking log.
Rolling out of bed, I grabbed my pants and shirt, throwing them on along with my cut, socks, and boots. I walked down the hall of the little ranch house.
“Trixie?” I called into the nothingness.
I looked through the house, but she was nowhere. The little minx jumped out on me.
A piece of paper on the table had a large scrawl on it.
Spook,
I had shit to do. Lock the bottom lock when you leave. Please don’t come back.
I chuckled. Woman had no fucking clue who she was dealing with. Oh, I’d be back … tonight or this afternoon. I hadn’t decided yet.
**
Trix
“You get anywhere with Cade?” Jett, my assistant asked as she plopped down in the chair in front of my desk.  She had a beauty that pulled everyone in and curves that made me insanely jealous. Her long, dark hair laid pencil straight, and her eyes were a blue that looked almost gray in different lights.
My stomach fell at her question, reminding me of last night. I couldn’t believe I fucking slept with him. Not just fucked him, but showered with him, fell asleep with him … woke up in his damn arms. Sneaky bastard.
I could still feel him between my legs. Hell, I even had phantom feelings of him inside of me. He’d had a lot of practice. I knew he had because I had heard all about it. And I wasn’t any better than one of those paid hookers.
Fucking moron. My reasons had sucked before. They meant shit now.
I wanted to pass off the night as being just another booty call, a way to fuck each other out of our systems, but both were a flat out lie. Last night was so much more than anything Taylor, or any of my other weak-ass booty calls, and I had ever been.
The rawness in his eyes captivated me. God, his eyes … I could see so much more in them last night. More than I’d ever thought I would see. But I was just fooling myself. I wouldn’t go back fifteen years to fall for the bad boy again, just to get my heart smashed all over again.
Mortification didn’t even cut it when it came to describing how I felt. Weak. Pathetic. I gave in, letting him have that power over me with his smooth talking and fantastic bed skills.  Plus, he had looked sexy as hell in his leather and jeans. To see him on a motorcycle, too, was just a recipe for disaster. And I had just spread my legs, begging for him to give it to me. Dammit.
Although I was dead serious in the note I left him this morning, it felt really odd to leave it for him in my own house. Nevertheless, I couldn’t stay and deal with the morning after shit. One look and I would have let him inside my body again. I would have let him take me over and over until I really couldn’t walk. Now that I knew how much he had grown, let alone changed in the bedroom, it would be more difficult than ever to say no to him.
I had to remember Cade crushed me. My first love left me to pick up the pieces of my torn heart. I couldn’t go back to the me from that time.
“He doesn’t know if Nanette is there.” I decided to leave out the whole him fucking my brains out bit. I wouldn’t open up that can of worms. I told Jett all about Cade one night after way too many shots of tequila. Regardless, the less people who knew about the now, the better.

AP - about the author.jpg

Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. Then Wanting You and the Ravage MC series.

When she's not reading or writing, she spends time taking care of her two children and her husband, enjoying the outdoors and laying in the sun.

I have loved every one of the books in this series. The characters are amazing and their stories are full of depth and overflowing with emotion. I have been waiting for Caleb to get a HEA since the first time he was mentioned in the series. His story is truly heartbreaking and I am so happy for him. Sofia is exactly the kind of character I was hoping for. The connection is instant and I loved watching Caleb’s walls crumble. I think everyone who loves this series knows that the woman to get through to Caleb was going to have to be a special woman. I love that their relationship flowed so well from the beginning. This story was a long time coming. The author did a phenomenal job with all the detail and description. The story flowed seamlessly. I know this is the Lawson Brothers series, but I really, really need a story and HEA for Apple. I know there is a Lawson out there for her too!

LOVE UNEXPECTED by JC Santo ♥ RELEASE DAY BLITZ & REVIEW

Love Unexpected
(Navy Love Series, #2)
JC Santo

Sometimes the unexpected things in life turn out to be the most worthwhile.

Tegan Daniels is a twenty-one year old college student and a hopeless romantic. She knows her prince charming will eventually find her one day. Someone must be playing a warped joke on her when he comes into her life; Her perfect man with one huge character flaw---he despises love.
Charles Reed has never been a commitment type of man, except when it comes to his loyalty to the U.S. Navy. When a close friend’s sister moves to town he starts doubting his phobia of relationships. What he doesn't expect is for her innocence to make him question everything in his life and from his past.

He never anticipated a girl like her would come into his life. She never thought she’d have to convince her dream man to give them a shot.
Sometimes the things we want most, require the most fighting for. Love is something unwanted by him and something desired by her; Neither expect to fall for the other.

Will this unexpected love end in their happily ever after?

Review by: Leeann

So this story is all about second chances and family.

Reed had a crappy childhood up until he was 10 years old and got adopted by his parents. He finds it hard to trust and to open himself up to anyone. Until Tegan. She is a game changer.

Tegan is young and carefree. She has her whole life ahead of her and she wants Reed to be a part of that. Only problem is, he doesn't do commitment and her sister would not approve.

These two are destined to be together but they have a lot to work through to get their happy ending.
You can't help but like Reed and Tegan. They are well matched and they have a huge support network.
Reed initially comes across as a bit of a self centred jerk but as the story goes on it becomes clear he really is one of the good guys and the decisions he has made have not just been to protect his heart, but to protect Tegans heart too. By the time you get to the end of the story you can see how he has changed and grown up. He becomes a wonderful boyfriend and the exact man Tegan needs and wants.

Tegan is a sweetheart from the start. She wears her heart on her sleeve and she knows what she wants and deserves in a partner. She decides she isn't going to settle for less. She also learns a lot on their journey. She learns what it means to be in an adult committed relationship and what it means to stand by your man even when things are hard.

This story has a definite  feel good tone to it. There is a little bit of angst but not too much. There are lots of sexy cute moments & also some very deep and meaningful ones.

I love it when I sit down to read a romance and it has all the good feels so that by the end there is no question that I have read a beautiful story with a happy ending. That is exactly what I got with this book.
I am really looking forward to the 3rd book in this series.

This story was very emotional. The storyline was incredible

and flowed effortlessly. I love the way the author intertwines

all of her characters so closely. The relationships they all

have with each other are wonderful. I love to read stories

where previous characters still have so much presence.

Tegan is an amazing woman. She is very close with her

sister and she just fits in with the group like she was always

supposed to be there. Reed is a very closed off man. Sure,

he has his close friendships with the other characters, but he

doesn’t let anyone in. When he finally decides to let someone

crack his walls, the result is beautiful. Tegan and Reed

develop a connection that is deep and meaningful. The

author did an amazing job with their story and I am very

excited for stories for Jo, JC and Marshall.

Sometimes the things we fight hardest against are inevitable in the end.

Hunter Stevenson wasn't interested in wasting nights with bed warmers, he had a daughter to take care of and a life to build. Leaving behind the mother of his four year old child and her incessant partying, Hunter moves closer to his family to help provide Sawyer some stability.

Tessa Daniels didn’t share the ‘typical American dream’ like most girls.  A husband, 2.5 kids and a white picket fence weren’t the things she wanted for herself. She had a plan laid out, which included a career in the Navy and being surrounded by her best friends. She was perfectly content with her carefree, fun lifestyle and her casual relationships, but all of that changed when she met him.

What neither of them expected was a nosy brother and best friend with some serious matchmaking skills. The two have an instantaneous pull towards one another, they can’t fight the spark even though they both do.  Until one drunken night, Tessa throws herself at Hunter, only to face an agonizing rejection. However, Hunter’s gentlemanly facade doesn’t last with the sassy sailor girl, his alpha attitude quickly emerges in the midst of their sexual tensions.

Hunter refuses to be another one of Tessa’s casual hook-ups, and won’t allow her to run away from the idea of ‘them’. No matter how many obstacles stand in their way of a happily ever after. Now he must convince Tessa that their inevitable love is worth fighting for.

Can their newfound love survive the stress of an impending deployment and Hunter's past pushing it's way back into his life?

JC Santo a true southern girl born and raised a in Central Texas. When she met her husband who is in the U.S. Navy they had to relocate to Norfolk, Virginia. That's where she has been for the past 5 years being a wife and stay at home mom to 3 boys. In the rare occurrences she gets free time it's usually spent reading a good book. Three things she will never turn away cupcakes, tattoos and arbor mist! Lol you have to sound like Morgan Freeman!
